Growing up, I knew I wanted to be someone other's relied on to make their lives better. Initially, my goal was to bring hope, help, and comfort during other people's worst days, and I became a Paramedic. I moved to Kansas City and was proud to be a member of KCFD. I later realized I wanted to do more to help others than just the initial event, and went back to school to obtain my BSN. I started as a new nurse in the ICU at a Level 1 hospital, which is where I met Kelsey, and never looked back! Realizing I had more I wanted to accomplish, I went back to school yet again and obtained my Nurse Practitioner's Degree, and became one of the region's few dual trained Critical Care Nurse Practitioners who covered the ICU, alongside Kelsey. In the last 15 years I have spent in the medical field in some capacity, I have learned that assisting others with proactive healthcare as opposed to reactive healthcare is the best possible way to achieve health optimization, vitality, and quality of life. Feeling strong, healthy, and rejuvenated are among the secrets to living a better life, and I can not wait to help make your life goals and dreams become a reality! Fun fact about me: As someone who is not musically inclined in any sense of the word, I had to have a song to help me learn how to spell my name growing up! And to this day, I go by Ana, because let's face it, it is so much easier!
